I Feel the Love Project August 2013

This month the I Feel the Love Project is honored to draw attention to the issue of domestic violence.  As long as one person is suffering from domestic violence, that is one too many.  We at the I Feel the Love Project are rallying around domestic violence victims and their children this month by designing and creating unsigned birthday cards that will be sent to the SAFEHOME shelter for domestic violence survivors.

About SAFEHOME: SAFEHOMES's mission is to break the cycle of violence and partner abuse for victims and their children by providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, and prevention education.

SAFEHOME’s shelter offers a confidential, safe and healing atmosphere.  Every year, more than 350 women and children find safety, help and hope at SAFEHOME’s shelter. SAFEHOME’s shelter offers safe, supportive and accessible shelter accommodations to women and children.

    • Meals are provided
    • Clothing and other personal items are available if necessary
    • Counseling for adults and children
    • Housing Assistance
    • Educational and Employment Assistance
    • Court and Legal Supportive Services
    • Links to Community and Outreach Resources
    • Bilingual Advocacy
Services are provided at no cost. All services are available in English and Spanish. Translators for other languages are provided when needed. Victims of Domestic Violence with Disabilities are welcome at SAFEHOME’s shelter.

Most rooms are of universal design, with two bedrooms specifically adapted for persons with physical disabilities.

Children are also victims of domestic violence. They may exhibit fear, anxiety, depression, anger and other overwhelming emotions. At any given time, 50% or more of shelter residents are under the age of 17. SAFEHOME staff are trained and experienced in dealing with trauma in children.  Services for children include: children and family advocacy, counseling care, the children’s center, child-friendly environment, outdoor playground, computer lab, child-friendly meals.

If you would like to be a part of this month's project, please create an unsigned birthday card or cards for women and/or children.  We will be sending these unsigned birthday cards to SAFEHOME so that they can keep them on hand for their shelter residents'.  When the need arises, the women and children will have access to free handcrafted birthday cards.  Who doesn't want to be a part of this?  I know I will be making several cards this month.  Please join me.  You will be so happy you did.
All you need to do is:

Submit your hand crafted card/s by August 31st to:

Happy to be creating birthday crads for this month for an amazing cause. I just linked 2 cards that I made for a hop that I was in but I am working on a New post & cards for IFTL.

  4. I snailed some cards I made for this month's project and they should arrive soon. I don't have a blog to post photos so I hope that's not a problem. I was happy to find your website and learn about this good cause. Thank you for enabling us to create for such a positive reason, Madison.

  6. I am Mariam used every single spell worker on the internet, spent untold amounts of money and discovered they are all fakes...i was the fool though; doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. In the end, I decided that I wanted a tarot reading to know what my future held for me; I contacted a woman who lives locally to me and she told me about a man named (Priests Abija); he does not advertise on the internet, has another job for income, has no set prices, makes no false promises and refuses to help anyone that cannot be helped and even helps for free sometimes, he will give you proof before taking money. He is a wonderful man and he was the only person who actually gave me real results. I really hope he doesn't mind me advertising his contact on the internet but I'm sure any help/ extra work will benefit him here as (518) 303-6207 or He travel sometimes.i cant give out his number cos he told me he don’t want to be disturbed by many people across the world..he said his email is okay and he’ will replied to any emails asap, love marriage, finance, job promotion ,lottery Voodoo, poker voodoo, golf Voodoo,Law & Court case Spells, money voodoo, weigh loss voodoo, any sicknesses voodoo,Trouble in marriage,HIV AIDS,it's all he does Hope this helps everyone that is in a desperate situation as I once was; I know how it feels to hold onto something and never have a chance to move on because of the false promises and then to feel trapped in wanting something
