FAQ

  1. Q.  How do I get started?  A-  Look for the launch of a new project on the first of each month or join us at any time during the month.  All information regarding the current recipient is located on the right tool bar and is listed as "Current Project".
  2.  Do I need a blog to participate?  A- No!  If you do not have a blog, all you have to do is create a card and send it in.  I will be more than happy to scan it and post it to my photo gallery for everyone to see.
  3. Q. When I make a card, do I need to sign it or leave it blank?  A- I prefer that you sign it and send the recipient warm wishes of some kind.  Ideas for greetings would be: "thinking of you," "sending you greetings from California (or where ever you are from)," "you are amazing," ... anything that would be appropriate for the occasion.
  4. Q. Should I send a second envelope?  A- This isn't necessary, but you can if you would like.  I open all cards that are in the original envelope addressed to me and put them in a clean envelope.  I want to make sure that I have all the cards before sending them off.  If you do send your own envelope that is wonderful too but I don't want you to think you have too.
  5. Q. Where do we send the cards? A-  You can always send the cards to:

  1. Hi again, Madison...

A suggestion about the FAQ regarding the envelope: If a crafter wants to send the card in an envelope that's fine, but perhaps they can leave the envelope UNSEALED -- that way you can check them and scan them, etc. That way, you don't have to put them in a clean envelope. Also, when YOU send them to the recipient, please only seal them with a sticker, as I also check to make sure that all the embellishments (google eyes, wobbles, etc.) have stayed intact, and I fix them if not. (Oh, okay, I like to see them too!!) But really, no envelope is just as fine, as they come in such a well-protected box.

    ...just an idea! :)

P.S. I LOVE your new profile picture -- from your prom. You are so very beautiful, inside AND out!!

    Love,

  2. I came across your website from other cardmaking blogs and thought it would be a wonderful thing to make cards for your project. I read this latest birthday card project, and then read the FAQ page. I'm confused on one point only...your project page says you want "unsigned" birthday cards sent in. But on you FAQ page you have stated that you prefer we sign the card with a "wishing you well" or "sending you love from" signature. Are we supposed to be making them unsigned cards for them to send out to others, or are we making them supportive cards signed by ourselves???

Ready to make cards and waiting for your answer,
